Leon and Zhaleh

Leon and Zhaleh’s ring starred in our video about the making of our bespoke engagement rings

Last week we gave you a behind-the-scenes look at the time and effort that goes into crafting each one of our bespoke engagement rings – this week we’d like to share with you a little more about the ring which starred in the video.

This stunning, custom-designed ring was created for Zhaleh (above). When her fiancée Leon came to us requesting a beautiful and intricately designed ring for his planned proposal, we took the opportunity to work with him to create something truly fabulous.

We helped Leon to design something intricate and beautiful

The final design featured a stunning 0.7 carat, G colour diamond set in a platinum band, enhanced by an 112 strong entourage of sparkling smaller diamonds for maximum impact. The unusual 1:20 ratio of the cushion cut diamond presented more of a challenge than usual, but we hope you’ll agree that the end result is flawless. Learn more about diamonds here.

Flawlessly beautiful: the final design for the ring is stunning

Luckily for us Leon was the perfect customer – having planned well in advance, he was happy to allow us to film the manufacturing process. It was a tricky task, more so than we’d first imagined, but the design and manufacturing of the ring ran like clockwork, and it was ready in plenty of time for his proposal.

Here at Rare Pink we’re all about our customer’s experience – and we don’t believe that ends when we hand over the finished ring. Nothing makes us happier than when our customers keep in touch – so when Leon sent us these lovely photos of the happy couple we had to share!

Congratulations to Leon and Zhaleh on their engagement!
