We’re based in the City of London (Bank/Monument) and at our Workshop (Chancery Lane) with excellent transport links.

Taylor & Hart’s Customer Experience Team is a customer forward role and works alongside our workshop team and production teams to ensure the customer enjoys a seamless experience from the moment they place their order, and into the future. The Aftercare Coordinator has a passion for helping others and for excellence. They are proactive in working collaboratively to assist their colleagues and their customers. The Aftercare Coordinator is a key point of contact for liaising between the Customer Care Team and Aftercare Manager, to ensure services are accurately recorded following on from inspection outcomes. The role is customer centric and so being able to meet customers in person to help with aftercare services with confidence is required.

The Aftercare Coordinator is passionate about the customer experience and use their people skills to ensure all customers have the best possible experience at our workshop, and that services are carried out efficiently and correctly leading to positive reviews and referrals.

The Role

Taylor & Hart is about its customers and their stories. The Customer Care Team ensures that all T&H’s existing and prospective customers have an amazing journey with the brand. They provide quick, friendly, confident and professional responses to enquiries and proactively facilitate the customer experience around the design and purchase journey.

Success in this role means that people who interact directly with our brand, be it the purchaser or the wearer of the jewellery piece, understand our core values, our business model and what we stand for. The team is responsible for fast response times and clear communication. A positive attitude and enthusiasm are shown through face-to-face, phone calls and written communications.

In a nutshell, you make sure that customers feel they got an efficient, friendly and helpful service, making them feel cared for and delighted during their aftercare service and continuing into the future.

This is a role based in our Chancery Lane workshop working Monday – Friday, 9.30am-6.30pm GMT.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensuring correct rings are always sent and packaged correctly
• Ensuring the aftercare area is prepped and presentable ahead of customer appointments
• Organising UK shipments, Gophr, UPS, RM
• Providing cover for international fulfilment when needed
• Creating service requests for aftercare
• Inspecting simple resizes or cleans
• Stock take
• Neatly and safely organising product
• Flagging low stock to procurement at the right time

We’re based in Covent Garden and at our Workshop (Chancery Lane).

The Role

Taylor & Hart’s Retail Store Manager is dedicated to ensuring the customers experience in our retail store is an industry leading retail experience.  They are highly knowledgeable about the brand and our products, and manage a team of retail assistants to ensure they are set up for success in their roles and deliver a perfect experience for every visitor to our store.

The store manager will play a huge part in reaching revenue goals and will have responsibility towards the commercial impact of the business. In addition to the strong sales focus, success in this role will be in impactful collaboration with members of other teams, such as designers and consultants, and through building positive relationships and synergies across those working from the store. The store will be a hub for the movements of both new and existing products and a key responsibility will be facilitating the efficient movement of this. The store manager will be ultimately accountable for the presentation, maintenance and security of the store.

In summary, priorities for succeeding in the role will be a positive impact on sales targets, harmonious cross-team relationships, and the smooth and secure operation of the store. We’re looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the above skills gained from a minimum of five years managing a luxury retail store and team. The role is full-time, usually Tuesday – Saturday (flexibility when required) based at our London retail space.

Main Responsibilities

• Managing and motivating T&H retail team to increase sales and ensure efficiency whilst creating a luxury sales environment
• Coaching individual team members to be the best they can and to be continually striving for excellence
• Maintain a high level of customer experience across all in-store interactions
• General management of T&H Retail Store, including key holding, security, presentation, rota and booking system management
• Take ownership of any in-store escalations and ensure any such situations are contained and managed in a way to minimise effect on other visitors to the store

• Liaise with contractors including cleaners, security and maintenance

The Role

The Diamond & Gemstone Sales Specialist is a brand ambassador, understands the company’s core values and business model and is able to convey those to our customers, leaving them understanding what Taylor & Hart stands for. A positive attitude and enthusiasm are shown through phone calls and written communications. Through highly efficient, responsive and proactive communication with prospective customers, the successful candidate will understand and qualify the needs of the lead. For the business, this means maintaining a high conversion rate of leads that convert into sales by offering quick, friendly, confident and professional responses to enquiries.

Taylor & Hart’s Diamond & Gemstone Specialists have a passion for helping others and for excellence. They are proactive in working collaboratively to assist their colleagues and their customers. This is a remote role based in South Africa working Tuesday – Saturday, 10am-7pm GMT.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide customers with the knowledge they need to choose a great diamond/gemstone and ring and enable them to make an informed purchase
• Deliver sales efficiently
• Ensure live chat, whatsapp and phone calls, are monitored, and responses are quick, friendly, professional and helpful
• Contact and qualify new bookings in advance of their visit to our showroom.
• Advise prospective customers on the brand, products, and shopping experience they can expect from T&H
• Qualify prospective customers and assist in booking them in or passing along details of their enquiry for a consultant to take over the communication and provide them with a quote.

The Role

We are seeking someone who has experience delivering an exceptionally high standard using a variety of gem types, using both platinum and gold and in multiple different melee and centre setting styles.

The ideal candidate will be a highly disciplined craftsperson with an immaculate attention to detail. Able to work under pressure and coach the more junior team members.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the completion of your daily and weekly allocated workflow as agreed with the Workshop Manager, completed at the T&H quality standard.
• Support the Head of Quality and Production, Head of Supply Chain and Head of CAD in feedback on CADs, new designs and the work of external partners.
• Coach and work with talent in the workshop to improve the overall standard at T&H.

Job Requirements

• You’ll have a high level of capability for micro setting inclusive of pave, cut downs, fishtail and channel – with 6-7 years experience of consistently high-quality work.
• Highly competent on centre stones – offering a range of claws and finishes.
• Able to communicate effectively with others to help understand and solve challenges.
• Comfortable with a range of gemstone types, inclusive of diamond, emerald, sapphires etc.
• Good understanding of polishing and prepping items efficiently to a high standard.
• You’re reliable and commit to specific working hours to ensure that the workshop product flows are as streamlined as possible.

The Role

The Junior Jewellery Sales Consultant role is an opportunity for new graduates to enter the industry and gain experience with the goal of moving into a Diamond and Gemstone Specialist or Jewellery Design Consultant position over the coming 1-2 years following development within the company.

The role will include assisting consultants with their emails and daily tasks to learn how to approach customers as well as how to use photoshop and illustrator in the optimum way. The Junior Consultant will help to keep the showrooms and samples organised and to the company standards. Over time, they will learn to see customers in person for aftercare services such as collections, resizes, and drop offs. Once they have developed a complete knowledge of the processes and show a full understanding of the customer experience, they will begin doing wedding ring consultations.

In this role, the Junior Consultant will improve their knowledge of jewellery, diamonds and gemstones, to match the standard of our Sales teams. In addition, they will develop their talent in photoshop, illustrator, drawing and people skills to ensure all customers’ rings are perfectly created just for them, with love and without limits.

As we look to continue to grow Taylor & Hart, we feel this is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate looking to enter the industry and offers a chance of career development with us in the sales or wider team.

The role is a full-time role working 4 week days and one day over the weekend, most preferably Sunday- Thursday. Sunday 9.30am-6.30pm. Monday-Thursday 11am-8pm.

The role will be based at our London showroom located close to Bank & Monument stations.
