Few Hollywood love stories have captured hearts quite like Tom Holland and Zendaya’s. The pair, who first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, made a swing from being co-stars to close friends and eventually, to one of the most beloved couples in entertainment. Their joint press tours and planned outings are as entertaining as the films they star in, and now, their romance has reached a new milestone. The superhero couple is reportedly engaged.
Absolute Euphoria
Holland is said to have proposed to Zendaya between Christmas and New Year’s at one of the Challengers star’s family homes. The proposal was described as ‘very romantic and intimate,’ which matches the couple’s famously private approach to their relationship.
Tomdaya enthusiasts began speculating about their engagement after Zendaya appeared at the 2025 Golden Globes wearing a dazzling diamond engagement ring on her left hand. She coyly fuelled the rumours by flirtatiously flashing the ring when asked about it on the red carpet, leaving everyone guessing until confirmation emerged.

Uncharted Territory
Holland and Zendaya have been romantically linked since 2021, but their connection dates back years before that. Following in the footsteps of Toby Maguire & Kirsten Dunst and Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield their love blossomed while making the Spider-Man movies. Their chemistry was visible both on-screen as well as in any joint promotional appearances, with the two always speaking highly of each other in interviews. Her face when watching Tom perform as Rihanna in their Lip Sync Battle appearance definitely showed promise of something special in store for the two.
Despite their A-list status, both have worked hard to keep their relationship low-key. Tom recently shared why he avoids red-carpet appearances with Zendaya, saying, ‘It’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.’ This thoughtful approach shows just how much the couple respects and supports each other both on a personal and professional level. But they are there for each other when the time is right, with Zendaya proudly supporting her man during his successful limited run of Romeo & Juliet on London’s West End.
The Engagement Ring Challengers
Our Design Director, Kate Earlam-Charnley, believes Zendaya’s engagement ring to be around 5ct cushion diamond set in an East-West setting. It boasts a two tone 18ct yellow gold slim band with a Georgian cut-down frame and claw setting in white metal.
It’s a unique take on a classic cushion diamond ring design, perfect for a fashion icon like Zendaya. Law Roach would certainly approve.
Interestingly, Zendaya had liked an Instagram post featuring a similar design back in 2022, hinting at her preference for the stunning piece. Tom seems to be extremely perceptive and thoughtful, no doubt taking notes along the way.

Tom & Zendaya: Endgame
In an interview in 2023, Zendaya reflected on the balance between her public and private life. ‘Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public. I can’t not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. But also, I do have control over what I choose to share.’
