There’s nothing we love more than welcoming our customers into the showroom for an in-person consultation. Learning about everyone’s unique story and exploring how it can inform and inspire a creative collaboration is at the heart of what we do.

Our showroom is conveniently located in London’s West End, where you can turn your visit into a memorable day out. Especially if you bring your partner along to share in the experience. After all, more people than ever are opting to shop for an engagement ring together as a couple because let’s face it: a partnership is better when it makes decisions together.

Whether you live in London or are visiting from further away, spending a day together in the city offers a wonderful opportunity to create lasting memories that will be fondly revisited each time you look at your rings.

With that in mind, we’re always happy to share our personal recommendations for places to visit, dine, and explore in and around our showroom near Central London.

Our West End Showroom

Snacking in Seven Dials

After picking out the perfect jewellery, a bite to eat might be exactly what’s needed. Seven Dials Market is a slightly more under-the-radar food hall housed in a restored warehouse. It features independent food vendors making a diverse range of cuisines and dishes, from handmade pasta and sushi to mouthwatering West African dishes.

The market is divided into two main areas: Banana Warehouse, which hosts the majority of the food stalls and communal seating, and Cucumber Alley, dedicated to desserts and sweet treats. And, honestly, both are well worth a mooch around.

The Covent Garden Chronicles

While some might be thinking that Covent Garden is a bit of a tourist trap, there is certainly a reason why so many people love spending time there. With so much to see and explore all in and around one square, its popularity is so huge because there’s something for everyone. In the morning, you can start with some yummy breakfast and afterwards, how about a walk around the main Piazza to see some street performers putting on live shows?

The Apple Market is located in the central building and has loads of handmade crafts, jewellery, and art to peruse. For something more cultural, you could visit the London Film Museum or the Royal Opera House. There’s also the option to explore the nearby shops, including a mix of high street and designer stores, or visit some of the independent boutiques tucked away nearby.

In the afternoon, there’s the option of walking down to the nearby Somerset House or strolling along the Strand. If the weather’s good, sitting outside with a coffee or ice cream is an easy way to relax. Neal Street is great for shopping, and Neal’s Yard is a colourful courtyard tucked away behind Seven Dials, with independent cafés, a natural remedies shop and a calm atmosphere for a quiet sit-down or even a photo op.

Shaftesbury Avenue Shines Brightly

The Broadway of London, Shaftesbury Avenue, is only a short walk away and a magical place for couples to experience the outstanding theatre scene. It runs through the heart of the West End and is lined with world-renowned theatres, including the Apollo, Gielgud and Lyric.

Huge productions like Les Misérables, Evita, and A Streetcar Named Desire with Paul Mescal have all been staged there across the years. If you know you’re on your way into town and have always dreamed a dream of seeing a West End show, perhaps book some tickets in advance for a romantic and entertaining night out on the town.

Before that, you could stop for dinner as there’s a range of great places nearby, serving everything from Italian to Thai, or even a simple burger and chips. After dinner, you could have a drink in a historic pub or the newest cocktail bar.

Gordon’s Wine Bar is one of the oldest establishments in London and isn’t too far away. A mere stroll towards Embankment, this candlelit wine bar is built into old vaults. Atmospheric and perfect for a romantic end to the evening, where you can reflect on the day you’ve had and the future that’s coming.

Shaftesbury Avenue is great for soaking up the evening energy of the West End with Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus, both within walking distance. You can take a slow stroll along the street, stop for a late coffee or dessert, and take in the lights and cinematic buzz of the area.

Chilling in Chinatown

Chinatown is just a short walk away and is packed full of restaurants, bakeries, and shops. Have a walk through the main streets, taking in the sights and aromas and browse some of the authentic supermarkets and gift shops for snacks and souvenirs. Yum.

For a proper meal, there are plenty of options ranging from dim sum to hot pot, or, if you’re not ready for a full meal, you could just share a few dumplings or buns as a light snack. Chinatown is also a great spot for taking photos, especially near the large gate at the entrance. The atmosphere tends to get lively, but it’s easy to find a quieter spot on one of the side streets leading up to Soho.

A walk through Chinatown adds a nice change of pace to the day and offers something a bit different before the evening begins.

Seeing as you’ve made the journey to come select a beautiful ring, why not make the day as memorable as the ring itself? Taking the time to enjoy a full day in and around our showroom is a wonderful way to create meaningful moments along the journey.

Whether you have a clear vision in mind or are just beginning to explore your options, a catch-up with one of our personal design consultants offers the perfect opportunity to have your questions answered and your imagination sparked. And a walk around the area will do wonders for just that.
