Behind the Design: Miranda & Chris

Miranda & Chris

Following two postponements, Miranda & Chris finally went ahead with a fall-bloom wedding, where the rural fields of overgrown drop foliage and crisp scent in the air played host to a late Autumn setting.

From a nearby Church to Cadbury Court, the rich shades of the harvest season endured effortlessly from across the grounds to the ballroom. Sculptural yet rustic flower arrangements filled each room as well as the brass, stoneware and amber glass bottles across the tables. Evidently, the details are breathtaking—and that’s exactly the approach Chris took when choosing Miranda’s engagement ring.

The couple recently spoke with Love My Dress about the full wedding experience and Miranda and her now-husband, Chris, created their rings at Taylor & Hart.

Behind the ring design

Imbued with the same warmth as the wedding, their custom-made engagement ring balances both tradition and contemporary flair.

The ornate halo design features a round yellow diamond flanked by sixteen diamond petals and is set on both 18ct yellow and white gold. Undoubtedly, this flower-shaped silhouette was in perfect harmony with the seasonal bloom on their big day.

What’s more, Chris masterfully executed their bespoke design with a secret detail: blue topaz, set on the inside of the band, which reflects the month of November—and its significance—for the couple.

“Working with Chris shows how simple it is to incorporate different styles into one unified design.”

— Maria, Head Designer

They returned for their wedding rings. Miranda’s was custom made to match her engagement ring whilst Chris chose a simple gold band from our ready-to-ship collection. The result? A beautiful set of rings, set to last a lifetime—just like their love.
