Ethical engagement rings
At Taylor & Hart we proudly have a zero-tolerance policy toward unethically sourced diamonds or gemstones, as we craft only ethical engagement rings and jewellery.
We rely on our strict internal policies and the external measures of the Kimberley Process. This ensures we continue to provide our customers only ethically-sourced engagement rings.
The Kimberley Process tracks diamonds from mine to market, and in partnership with companies such as ours in the diamond industry, the United Nations, governments, and non-governmental organisations, it prevents the trade of unethical diamonds.
Internally, we have carefully selected diamond suppliers who are the world’s largest and most respected. These companies, like Taylor & Hart, proudly adhere to and enforce the standards established by the Kimberley Process in all our ethically-sourced diamond rings.
All our ethically sourced diamond rings are warranted to be of an ethical origin. The team at Taylor & Hart are committed to continuing in their support of any process that works to uphold legitimacy in the diamond trade.
Our diamonds are mined in many countries around the world, including countries in Africa (like Botswana & Angola), Canada, Russia, and Australia, among others.
If you are interested in finding out more about how we are able to guarantee the source of our diamonds or gemstones in our ethical engagement rings, please contact us.
Today, the sale of unethical diamonds has been reduced significantly. This is thanks to initiatives such as the Kimberley Process and because of increased pressure from consumers, the media and social enterprises, for diamond organisations to be more transparent in their sourcing. Our commitment to the highest ethical standards continues to affect how and from where we source our diamonds and jewellery.
As a responsible member of the diamond and jewellery industry, and a member of the National Association of Jewelers, we are working with our suppliers to ensure our consumers receive only ethical engagement rings and jewellery.
