The consultation & design process was very clear, super professional and had that air of class that you'd expect when spending a significant amount of money, without veering into any sort of old-world, overly pretentious atmosphere. My designer, Flor, was really great at guiding me through the initial consultation, adding some more personal touches to make it feel a bit more special, as well as listening to, iterating upon and implementing my ideas to produce a really special ring for my partner (who loved it!) As an extra note, I was actually simultaneously talking to other jewellers to see what designs they could come up with using the same inspiration. These competitors either couldn't design a ring to my specifications, or what they put forward wasn't quite right - Flor did a better job than anyone else I could find in bringing what I was looking for to life! After all of the designing, I was confident that production would go smoothly, and picking the ring up was easy as pie. I'd absolutely recommend Taylor & Hart to anyone looking for bespoke jewellery, especially if you're looking for an engagement ring!

I customised an engagement ring for my fiancé and I would like to break my review into two halves. Firstly the design, purchase and receiving of the ring, I had my fiancé ring customised and the process with my designer Michelle was sublime! Nothing was too much and I was provided with renders at every step of the way. The ring arrived roughly 4 weeks after purchase and it was stunning! Better than the renders made it look and my fiancé loved it! The only slight issue occurred when the ring didn’t fit, I must stress that I didn’t have the size needed so we went from an estimate based on photos on my fiancé’s hand, so needing a resize was fair enough! We sent the ring back and made use of the sizing service in London. This is where my only gripe lays, we were told initially that it would be a 10 working day turnaround which we were more than happy with, and we were now dealing with customer care. However after the 10 days were up customer care got in contact to say it would be another 20 working days in order to remake the ring to the correct size, we weren’t over the moon about the amount of time but couldn’t really argue. Then communication stopped, even after emailing customer care directly for an update. It was only after emailing Michelle (my designer) that customer care got back in touch and actually provided a date for completion and delivery. We then got the ring back and it is perfect! In summary, the design and order process was amazing, first class in every way. The customer care however could use improvement. I would fully recommend you buy your engagement ring here as the quality is simply first class, but make sure you have the correct ring size so that you don’t have to send it back.
