I couldn't have asked for a better experience at Taylor & Hart. The ring I brought was not an engagement ring, my mum isn't very well and this ring is to symbolise her, our memories and her love. For me the bit I fell in love with about this ring was the band and how it has a ruby set inside which you can change. I had it changed to my mum's birthstone peridot to represent her. Soon I won't be able to see her, but I know she will always be there. You can't see her birthstone inside the ring, but I know it's there. This small beautiful detail is why I brought the ring and it did not disappoint. My appointment with Patrick was so lovely. He was a really kind man, a real pleasure to deal with. We told him our budget and how much I was comfortable spending on the diamond and not once were you made to feel uncomfortable, you were never shown anything out of your price range, you were respected the whole time and it was never ever a sales pitch, which was really nice. There was even the offer of some alternative cheaper options which I think is a really nice thing to offer. You never felt rushed or pushed into make a decision. I already had quite a good idea on the style of ring and the cut of the diamond I wanted, so we didn't have to spend much time going through the options, but any questions I had was answered and explained perfectly. I was listened to the whole time about what I wanted and how I wanted the diamond to be cut. We actually came in a good way under budget as I was never pushed into going for a bigger diamond, as for me the band was the most important part, but it was still amazing to be able to pick your own one! Opening the box for the first time was the most magical experience, seeing it for the first time sparkling away at you. It was breathtaking and exceeded all expectations. Not only do I have this ring to remember my mum by, I also have a lovely day attached to it. Going up to London, being in the lovely studio and trying on all the rings. looking at all these lovely diamonds. Just sitting there and being with my mum. Her being beside me at the appointment, looking at everything and deciding with me, just chatting with Patrick. It was all just a magical day and one I will remember forever. I couldn't have asked for better service from Taylor & Hart, from the people on the online chat and everyone who answered my emails (quickly) to Patrick who lead our consultation. What is quite an emotional sad journey, was made such a lovely pleasant experience and lovely memory. If you have been considering Taylor & Hart for a while now, or you have just discovered them. Even if you feel like maybe your budget isn't big enough and feel slightly intimidated by everything. I would highly recommend them, you are never pushed into anything, you are never made to feel uncomfortable or that your business is not good enough, you are never sold anything. You are guided, you are respected, you are welcomed, you are listened to and you feel magical. Thank you for a lovely experience one I will never forget and for the most beautiful ring I think I will ever own.
