Taylor & Hart would be nothing without the intrepid and talented team of artisans who make up our in-house workshop. We want you to get to know the people behind our crafting process and this month we sat down to interview Matt, one of our skilled diamond mounters, to find out more about his journey into the jewellery industry. A standout on his team, with Matt we know that each gemstone mounted in our workshop is in safe hands.
At Taylor & Hart we’ve always taken pride in our ethical approach to love and jewellery through designing every piece we craft with purpose. For the first time, we’re publishing a Sustainability Report laying out our goals for the next three years. Making this information available to everyone will not only hold us accountable as we undertake this vital work, it’ll give you a window into how jewellery has the power to nurture a more just world. We believe we can make a difference. Let’s do it hand in hand.
An interview with Taylor & Hart's former master goldsmith. Paul Savage is a classically trained goldsmith with over 17 years of experience in creating fine jewellery and art. We speak with Paul to get to know his beginnings in the jewellery industry, and about the journey that led him to become an expert in his field.

From long-distance yearning to dairy cow-inflicted illness, true love can withstand it all. Nobody proves that quite like Juliana & George, a Kiwi couple who continually show us that when you find ‘the one’ nothing can stand in your way. We chat with them to hear all about their unique love story.
Life has been looking a little different for a while now, and people have been adapting in the most inspiring ways. Notably, people have been learning how to love through these unusual days. So when lockdown hit, the world went virtual—and photography did too. We collaborated with award-winning photographer Tim Dunk to create innovative FaceTime photoshoots, and resulted in five beautiful couples sharing a visual story of their love, photographed right in their own homes.
Coronavirus has changed the way we live in a matter of weeks. Our bustling, busy lives have been replaced by a slow tune. Whilst we’re social distancing, some of us might find that we have the time to reconnect with our families and loved ones, and build bonds stronger than ever. While we’re living in times of uncertainty, one thing remains true–love conquers all. Times like this bring life affirming moments where people realise what they value. For some, this means making it official, and getting engaged. A quarantine can certainly be a challenging environment in which one can propose, but a determined few have certainly found a way to be creative and romantic!
